A little thoughtful care helps your wardrobe stay ready for the next occasion.
Follow the care label supplied with the garment. Separate rich colours for washing, choose a mild detergent when hand washing is permitted, and avoid wringing delicate fabric.
Let garments dry in the shade. When ironing, test a hidden area first and use the fabric-appropriate temperature. Embellished areas may need a protective cloth.
Store special pieces clean and dry in breathable fabric bags. Refold sarees occasionally, and keep heavy accessories separate so they do not snag the weave.
